MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Regis Corp. (RGS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $32.9 million in its fiscal second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Minneapolis-based company said it had a loss of 92 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 72 cents per share.

The owner of hair salon chains Supercuts and MasterCuts posted revenue of $104.3 million in the period.

Regis shares have increased nearly 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $9.62, a drop of 38% in the last 12 months.
