RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 1,544.7 million compared to USD 1,332.29 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 440.38 million compared to net income of USD 55.09 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 9.75 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.94 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 9.75 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.94 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was USD 3,883.89 million compared to USD 3,776.99 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 259.92 million compared to net income of USD 565.3 million a year ago.
