Construction starts in Renault and Dacia investment; two state-of-the-art car dealerships are being built in Kungsängen and Uppsala, Sweden.

In October 2021, Hedin Mobility Group's subsidiary Hedin Stockholm Bil acquired the Renault and Dacia operations in northern Stockholm and Uppsala from former Bra Bil, and Upplands Motor. The business has since been continued in existing premises, but now construction of two brand-new car dealerships in Kungsängen and in Uppsala has started.

Both dealerships will house new car sales, sales of used cars through the Hedin Certified concept, and workshops.

“We are very pleased to have turned the first sod and that we can soon move our Renault and Dacia operations to these new sites. This will be two state-of-the-art car dealerships with the latest interior design concepts from each brand. It will be a brilliant addition to our Renault and Dacia presence in the Stockholm region", said Morten Westby, CEO of Hedin Stockholm Bil.

“The two new dealerships for Renault and Dacia will be a good addition to the dealer network and for our customers north of Stockholm. The dealerships will be the first in Sweden with the new Renault and Dacia brand identities. We are really looking forward to inaugurating the new premises in mid 2023", said Jonas Angerdal, CEO of RN Nordic AB.

The dealerships are expected to be completed during the first quarter 2023 (Kungsängen) and the second quarter 2023 (Uppsala).
