STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) _ ReneSola Ltd. (SOL) on Wednesday reported a loss of $204,000 in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Stamford, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 1 cent per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 2 cents per share.

The solar energy company posted revenue of $8.2 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $14.4 million.

For the current quarter ending in September, ReneSola said it expects revenue in the range of $22 million to $25 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $100 million to $120 million.
