(Reuters) - Waste management firm Renewi on Friday said that Otto de Bont, its chief executive officer, has stepped down.
The company did not name a successor as a search is underway.
Bont became the top boss of the London-headquartered firm in 2019 before which he was a managing director of the company's Commercial Waste Netherlands division.
Renewi in February agreed to the terms of a 700.9 million pound ($949.5 million) offer to be bought out by Australia's Macquarie.
The firm operates mainly in the Netherlands and Belgium, and has smaller operations in Portugal and France.
