CLOSING POSTPONED FOR RDM GROUP'S ACQUISITION OF THE PAPELERA DEL PRINCIPADO S.A.

("PAPRINSA") AND OTHER TREE SMALLER COMPANIES

Milan, 31 March 2021 - Further to the announcement made on 30 September 2020 regarding the acquisition of Papelera del Principado S.A. ("Paprinsa") and of three smaller companies operating in contiguous businesses based in the same site (Fergerdell S.L., Cogeneraciò del Pla S.A. and Ondupacart S.A.), RDM Group announces that the closing, which upon signing the preliminary purchasing agreements was expected to take place no later than 31 March 2021, will instead occur by 30 June 2021, as some conditions precedent are still pending, particularly the authorization to increase production capacity.

As announced on 10 December 2020, it should be recalled that meanwhile the Antitrust authority has authorized the transaction.
