Rentokil Initial plc announces the appointment of Sarosh Mistry to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 April 2021. Sarosh will also become a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee from this date. Sarosh has extensive experience as a senior executive, driving organic and inorganic growth in business-to-business services, especially in North America. He has deep experience of building businesses across the healthcare, retail, facilities management, hospitality, financial services and consumer technology industries, including innovation-led growth, service line extensions and new country entries (including emerging markets in Latin America and Asia). His executive experience has been in complex, geographically dispersed and multi-site businesses operating globally. Sarosh is Chairman of Sodexo's North American services, which include clinical technology in health care settings, SaaS-based digital ecosystems, and food-focused delivery. He is also CEO of Sodexo's global Home Care Services business and a member of the listed group's executive committee. Prior to joining Sodexo in 2011, he worked in senior roles in major business-to-business and consumer organizations Compass, Starbucks, Aramark and Pepsico. Angela Seymour-Jackson, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, has informed the Company that, having served on the Board for a period of 9 years, she does not intend to stand for re-election at the Company's AGM on 12 May 2021 and will, therefore, retire as a director of the Company from the conclusion of the meeting. The Company announced that Cathy Turner, a Non-Executive Director and member of the Remuneration Committee since April 2020, will succeed Angela as Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
