WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) _ Repligen Corp. (RGEN) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $3.6 million.

The Waltham, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 7 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 20 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 18 cents per share.

The drug developer posted revenue of $69.5 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $68.3 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $21.4 million, or 44 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $270.2 million.

Repligen expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.07 to $1.12 per share, with revenue in the range of $309 million to $319 million.

Repligen shares have climbed 18% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 83% in the last 12 months.
