Resonant Inc. is a late-stage development company that creates software, intellectual property (IP) and services platforms. The Company operates in the radio frequency filter design industry. It is focused on WaveX to develop designs that target either the surface acoustic wave (SAW) or temperature compensated (TC) SAW manufacturing processes. The Company enables WaveX for bulk acoustic wave (BAW) designs, which has resulted in its invention of a resonator structure based on a combination of interdigital transducer (IDT) and piezoelectric layer, XBAR, which exhibits performance parameters suitable for fifth-generation (5G),5-7 gigahertz (GHz) wireless fidelity (WiFi) and ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. Its radio frequency front-end (RFFE) is the circuitry responsible for analog signal processing and is located between the device's antenna and its digital circuitry. Its filters are a component of the RFFE used to select desired radio frequency signals and reject unwanted signals.
