For the six months, sales was USD 1,317 million compared to USD 1,097 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 3,090 million compared to USD 2,698 million a year ago. Net income was USD 419 million compared to USD 438 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.36 compared to USD 1.43 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.35 compared to USD 1.42 a year ago.
