RH announced earnings results for the second quarter ended July 31, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 988.859 million compared to USD 709.282 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 248.988 million compared to USD 136.568 million a year ago. Net income was USD 226.746 million compared to USD 98.423 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 10.71 compared to USD 5.08 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 7.09 compared to USD 3.71 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 1,849.651 million compared to USD 1,192.177 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 436.876 million compared to USD 172.021 million a year ago. Net income was USD 357.402 million compared to USD 95.211 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 16.95 compared to USD 4.93 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 11.31 compared to USD 3.75 a year ago.

RH is a retailer and luxury lifestyle brand operating primarily in the home furnishings market. The Company offers merchandise assortments across a number of categories, including furniture, lighting, textiles, bathware, decor, outdoor and garden, and baby, child and teen furnishings. Its operating segments include RH Segment, Waterworks and Real Estate. The RH Segment and Waterworks operating segments include all sales channels accessed by its customers, including sales through retail locations and outlets, including hospitality, websites, Sourcebooks, and the Trade and Contract channels. The Real Estate segment represents operations associated with certain of its equity method investments and consolidated variable interest entities that are non-wholly-owned subsidiaries and have operations that are not directly related to RH's operations. The Company offers collections online at RH.com, RHContemporary, RHModern.com, RHBabyandChild.com, RHTEEN.com and Waterworks.com.
