Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was PHP 34,900.430 million compared to PHP 39,860.627 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 719.094 million compared to PHP 1,076.040 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 0.46 compared to PHP 0.68 a year ago. For the half year, sales was PHP 74,962.644 million compared to PHP 77,210.922 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 1,641.927 million compared to PHP 1,712.550 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 1.04 compared to PHP 1.09 a year ago.
Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. is a Philippines-based multiformat retailer. The Company's divisions include Supermarket, Department Store, Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Convenience Store, Drug Store and Specialty Store. The Supermarket division operates under five formats: Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, The Marketplace, Shopwise and No Brand. The Department Store division includes Robinsons Department Store, which offers local and international brands that are grouped into categories, such as shoes, bags and accessories (including beauty and personal care), ladies' and men's wear, children's wear, household items and others.
