Rockwell Automation Inc. said Thursday that currency translation decreased sales in the last quarter, while keeping the previous guidance of no FX impact on 2022 sales growth.

The Milwaukee provider of industrial automation and information services said sales rose 18.7% in its first quarter to $1.9 billion, including a decrease of 0.7% caused by currency translation.

The company backed its expectation that exchange rates will have no impact on full fiscal 2022 sales growth, which Rockwell estimates between 16% and 19%.
