Rogers is the first telecom company in Canada to add Amazon Music onto its innovative TV service

Ignite TV customers now have access their favourite songs, playlists, stations and more with Amazon Music

TORONTO (October 27, 2020) Today, Rogers announced that its customers can access Amazon Music directly through their Ignite TV. Customers can listen to their favourite music, as well as thousands of playlists and stations, through Amazon Music, creating the perfect at-home music vibe. Rogers Ignite TV customers also have access to the Amazon Prime Video app to watch their favourite TV shows and movies.

'As Canadians spend more time at home, we want to create the ultimate at-home experience where our Ignite TV customers have access to their favourite content across genres,' said Eric Bruno, SVP - 5G, Content and Connected Home Products. 'Amazon Music is a great addition to our growing number of apps on Ignite TV, allowing customers to personalize their music experience at home.'

With Amazon Music, Prime members have access to two million hand-curated songs and thousands of stations and top playlists at no additional cost to their membership. Subscribers to Amazon Music Unlimited, the service's premium subscription tier, have access to millions more songs and thousands of playlists and stations. Rogers Ignite TV customers using Amazon Music are now able to listen to some of the best new music available, including the Rap Rotation playlist, Amazon Music's home for hip-hop in heavy rotation, and the Canada Now playlist, highlighting trending music across Canada.

Building on its suite of applications available on Ignite TV, Rogers is the first telecom in Canada to integrate Amazon Music onto its platform. To access either Amazon Music Unlimited or Prime Music, customers need an active membership to Amazon Music Unlimited or a Prime membership. Visit Amazon.ca to sign up. The Amazon Music app on Ignite TV will offer full access to the vast catalogue of music titles available by tier.

To discover, Ignite TV customers can simply say 'Amazon Music' into the voice remote or find it in the app section.
