ROLLS-ROYCE HOLDINGS PLC Rolls-Royce (LSE: RR., ADR: RYCEY) today announces it welcomes Air France-KLM's order of four new Airbus A350F aircraft, which are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. Additionally, these engines will be covered by our comprehensive TotalCare service. The aircraft will be operated by Martinair Holland N.V., a Dutch cargo airline headquartered and based in Amsterdam Schiphol airport, and part of KLM Group. This selection by Air France-KLM, is another endorsement of the proven capability of the Trent XWB powered A350 family, which has delivered unprecedented reliability to customers since its entry into service in 2015.

As versatile as it is reliable, the Trent XWB has already shown it is equally efficient at powering short-haul or long-haul flights, which makes it the ideal solution for the passenger and freighter market with a varied network. Now the engine will also show its versatility by powering dedicated freighter as well as passenger flights - from people to cargo - to their final destinations.
As the world's most efficient aero engine in service, the Trent XWB will help fast track Air France-KLM's sustainability journey. With a 15 per cent fuel consumption advantage over the first generation of Trent engine, the Trent XWB goes further on less fuel, and offers leading performance and noise levels. It is also ready to operate on a 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) blend.
