Roper Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 1,587.6 million compared to USD 1,305 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 418 million compared to USD 333.6 million a year ago. Net income was USD 286.3 million compared to USD 219.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.72 compared to USD 2.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.69 compared to USD 2.08 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 3,116.2 million compared to USD 2,655.7 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 818.5 million compared to USD 682.8 million a year ago. Net income was USD 575.3 million compared to USD 459.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 5.47 compared to USD 4.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 5.42 compared to USD 4.36 a year ago.
