News › TYRA FUTURE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT - Sail Away

On 16th March 2022, the new Tyra TEH utility and living quarter module sailed away from Rosetti's Piomboni Yard on Heerema Marine Contractors' Barge H-408, which transported the 5,400-tonne facility to the Tyra field in the Danish North Sea.

The module is over 55 meters tall and has seven levels, including a helideck, and an area of 3,500 m2. In addition to housing 80 offshore crew members in single sea view cabins, the unit also has an outdoor recreational area, a canteen, TV lounges, a sauna, a fitness room and a well-equipped common area. The module also contains a state-of-the-art control room, a water system turning sea water into drinking water and all fire water and emergency power for Tyra II will be run from the unit. The project involved more than 2,800,000 manhours performed LTI free and a peak of 600 direct workers.

A special thanks to TOTAL DENMARK for the trust placed in us and to the entire Rosetti Marino team who accepted the challenge and achieved this goal.
