Ekterina Grushetskaya will be the new head of Shell in Russia from August 1. Grushetskaya will be the first Russian citizen appointed to the role. She replaces Cederic Cremers, who will lead the development of Shell's LNG segment in the Eastern Hemisphere. He will remain chairman of the board of directors at Sakhalin Energy. Grushetskaya joined Shell in Russia in 2003. She has held senior positions at Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd. and at Salym Petroleum Development N.V, where she became Finance and Commercial Manager in 2015. She has been vice president for the development of upstream oil and gas projects in Russia and responsible for corporate governance at upstream assets since the end of 2018.
