NEW YORK (AP) _ Royalty Pharma (RPRX) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $441 million.

The New York-based company said it had net income of 73 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 71 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 70 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $555 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $475 million.

Royalty Pharma expects full-year revenue in the range of $2.08 billion to $2.12 billion.

Royalty Pharma shares have decreased 27% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 20% in the last 12 months.
