RPS has appointed Arthur (Artie) Stamatoudis as Executive Director for its growing Advisory Division in Australia Asia Pacific (AAP), taking over from Meegan Sullivan who became Chief Executive Officer for the AAP business in October.

Artie has been a key member of the firm's executive for three years, leading RPS' Australian economics, project strategy and finance teams as Executive General Manager - Strategy and Investment.

Based in Brisbane, Artie is well-known for his work in infrastructure and has more than 25 years' experience shaping major investments. With a particular interest in rail, he's contributed to many of Queensland's most significant infrastructure initiatives, most recently Brisbane's Cross River Rail and the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail initiative.

In commenting on his appointment, Artie spoke with pride about the team he now leads, and the work RPS' Advisory Division does for clients and communities across the region:

"Whether it's a major highway in New South Wales, a rail project in Queensland, or a clean energy project in Victoria, RPS advisory consultants are out there supporting clients to plan great projects, consult deeply with communities, and deliver infrastructure with confidence," he said.

"The firm has invested significantly in our management consulting capabilities and team, and we now operate as a centre of excellence for major investments and infrastructure projects.

"I'm looking forward to working with my colleagues to bring RPS' advisory expertise to even more projects, and support clients all over the region to enhance the value of their investments in infrastructure," Artie concluded.
