RSWM Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 9,530.7 million compared to INR 5,535.6 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 9,599 million compared to INR 5,599.5 million a year ago. Net income was INR 447.5 million compared to net loss of INR 150 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 19 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 6.37 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 19 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 6.37 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 16,949.9 million compared to INR 7,693.9 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 17,096.7 million compared to INR 7,797.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 816.6 million compared to net loss of INR 811.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 34.67 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 34.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 34.67 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 34.44 a year ago.
RSWM Limited is an India-based textile manufacturing company. The Company is primarily engaged in producing yarns, including synthetic, blended, melange, cotton, specialty, and value-added yarns suitable for suiting's, shirting's, hosiery, denim, technical textiles and industrial applications and denim fabric, and synthetic fabrics. The Company operates through two segments: Yarn, and Fabric. It also specialized in home and commercial interior textiles used for curtains, carpets, bed covers and upholstery. The Companyâs e melange yarn, which includes an astounding assortment of 20 different sustainable fibers, including bamboo, lotus, sorona, coolmax, wool, silk, linen, hemp, recycled cotton, and recycled polyester. Its customers consist of fabric manufacturers and wholesalers.
