Revenue fell 2.0% to €1,292m in Q1 2025 (€1,318m in Q1 2024), down 5.6% on an organic basis.

The group recorded a decline in Fremantle content revenues and a decline in television advertising revenues, partially offset by higher streaming revenues, it  said.

Total advertising revenue remained stable at €685m (compared to €685m in Q1 2024), including €507m in TV advertising revenue (compared to €528m).

RTL Group expects its FY 2025 revenue to reach about €6.45bn, mainly due to significant growth in streaming revenue and portfolio effects.

RTL Group is also targeting adjusted EBITA for 2025 of around €780m, mainly due to lower start-up losses from streaming start-ups.
