Atresmedia's net revenue for the full year of 2020 amounted to €866 million, compared to €1,039 million for the same period in 2019. Its EBITDA was €74 million (2019: €184 million), and net profit amounted to €23.9 million (2019: €118 million).

The advertising market in Spain declined following the Covid-19 pandemic. In the same period, Atresmedia's market share grew to 41.1 per cent compared to the previous year (2019: 40.9 per cent), according to internal estimates.

Against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown in Spain, Atresmedia was the only television group in the country to achieve higher audience shares compared to the previous year. The company reached a combined audience share of 26.3 per cent, slightly up from previous year (2019: 26.2 per cent). In the commercial target group during prime time it obtained its audience share of 27.9 per cent (2019: 27.9 per cent). The total audience share of the main channel Antena 3 was 11.8 per cent, and it achieved an audience share of 13.2 per cent in the commercial target group.

RTL Group owns a stake of 18.7 per cent in Atresmedia.
