BERLIN (dpa-AFX) - ZDF has secured the ratings victory in prime time on Tuesday evening. The international soccer match between Germany and Austria, which the DFB team lost, was watched by 8.2 million viewers at the 8:45 p.m. kick-off. This corresponds to a market share of 31.2 percent.

It was followed by ARD, which recorded 4.1 million (14.6 percent) with the lawyer series "Die Heiland - Wir sind Anwalt" on the first channel. The matchmaking show "Bauer sucht Frau" on RTL was watched by 3.3 million viewers (11.9 percent).

Sat.1 attracted 1.62 million (5.9 percent) with the reality show "Promi Big Brother". ZDFneo broadcast an episode of the crime series Friesland, which attracted 1.12 million viewers (4 percent). Kabeleins attracted 670,000 viewers (2.7 percent) with the film "Der Patriot".
