The case "The Last Ferry" was watched by 8.04 million viewers (28.3 percent) from 8.15 p.m. on the first channel. On the second channel, the European Handball Championship match between Germany and Iceland from 8.30 p.m. attracted 7.84 million viewers (28.0 percent). It ended with a 26:24 victory for the DHB team against the Icelanders.

Sat.1 reached with the entertainment program "Das 1% Quiz - Wie clever ist Deutschland?" 1.50 million (5.5 percent). RTL offered the documentary series "Stern TV Inside" about drugstores - 1.06 million (3.8 percent) watched. The fantasy adventure "The Hobbit - Smaugs Einode" on Vox was watched by 1.04 million (4.4 percent).
