Starting at 8:15 p.m., an average of 5.42 million viewers watched the episode "Mütter und Sohne" with detective superintendent Jana Winter (Natalia Worner). That corresponded to a market share of 22.2 percent. Behind was the private station RTL with its classic quiz "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" - which 2.41 million (11.2 percent) wanted to watch.
ARD showed the documentary "Ernstfall - Regieren am Limit" by Stephan Lamby on the first channel. The documentary about the German government was watched by 1.91 million viewers (6.9 percent). Afterwards, 2.07 million (9.8 percent from 9:30 p.m.) watched the ARD political talk show "hart aber fair" (topic: "Difficult mid-term review: Will the traffic lights get lost in the permanent dispute?").
"Inspector Barnaby" on ZDFneo was watched by 1.67 million (6.9 percent). Vox aired the founders' show "Die Hohle der Lowen," and drew 1.54 million viewers (6.9 percent).
Sat.1 relied on the game show "99 - Eine:r schlägt sie alle!" and got 940,000 viewers (4.3 percent). Kabel eins's U.S. comedy "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" drew 870,000 viewers (3.9 percent).
The U.S. sitcom "Young Sheldon" on ProSieben drew 690,000 viewers (2.9 percent) for the evening. The broadcast of the first episode of the new flirt show season of "Love-Island" brought in 460,000 viewers (2 percent) for RTLzwei./rin/DP/ngu
