RTX A/S (CPSE:RTX) commences share repurchases on December 1, 2023, under the program mandated by the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting held on January 26, 2023. As per the mandate, the company is authorized to repurchase its own shares, such that the company?s holding in treasury does not exceed 10% of its issued share capital. The acquisition price must not deviate by more than 10% from the share price on the stock exchange at the time of acquisition. The authority shall be valid up to January 25, 2028.
On November 30, 2023, the company announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 846,783 shares, representing 10% of its issued share capital for a total of DKK 20 million. The shares cannot be repurchased at a price exceeding the higher of the price of the latest independent trade and the price of the highest independent bid on the stock exchange at the time of transaction. The purpose of the program is capital allocation and maintaining structure of company. The repurchase program will expire on September 30, 2024.
