--Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary told the Financial Times that he is optimistic of achieving a large new Boeing aircraft order.

--According to the FT, O'Leary has accepted that the new planes will be more expensive than what the company paid for its most recent order.

--The new order could be for the Boeing 737 MAX 10 or for the smaller Boeing MAX 8200, the FT says.
