Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc., a hospitality real estate company, recently partnered with digital signage company Red Dot Digital Media to deploy digital signage at several of its entertainment venues in Nashville, Tennessee. In particular, Red Dot Digital Media provided an interactive guest book at Ryman Auditorium, digital menu boards and digital signage at retailers around the auditorium, according to a press release.

The company deployed a 22-inch interactive kiosk, powered by a BrightSign media player, to allow guests to browse past performers and find signatures of musicians. This guest book is loaded into a cloud-based library, which also stores notes in the performer's own handwriting.

The retail displays come in both individual screens and two-by-two video walls featured behind counters and other areas within the stores, which include the Ryman Shop and Opry Shop.

"Red Dot is privileged to update and maintain key elements of the digital signage infrastructure within the Ryman Auditorium and other Nashville landmarks," Darryl Kuder, president of Red Dot Digital Media, said in the release. "Each year, millions of country music fans make the pilgrimage to Nashville to take in the sights and experience all the city has to offer, and we're proud to play a role in helping to create those unforgettable experiences."
