S.P. Apparels Limited announced earnings results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was INR 2,097.67 million compared to INR 1,815.91 million a year ago. Net income was INR 196.54 million compared to INR 18.95 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 7.65 compared to INR 0.74 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was INR 4,616.38 million compared to INR 6,631.5 million a year ago. Net income was INR 326.15 million compared to INR 441.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 12.69 compared to INR 17.17 a year ago.
S.P.Apparels Limited is an India-based manufacturer and exporter of knitted garments for infants and children. The Company provides end-to-end garment manufacturing services from grey fabric to finished products. It manufactures wearing apparel; preparation and spinning of textile fiber, including weaving of textiles, as well as finishing of textile excluding khadi/handloom. The Company operates approximately 21 factories. The Companyâs subsidiaries include Crocodile Products Private Limited, S.P. Apparels (UK) (P) Limited and S.P.Retail Ventures Limited. Crocodile Products Private Limited is engaged in the business of, inter alia, establishing and managing units to manufacture, trade, deal, import and export garments, and manufacturing, distribution and marketing of menswear products under the trademark Crocodile in India. S.P. Apparels (UK) (P) Limited is engaged in trading activities with customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland and other European countries.
