Micael Johansson, CEO of SAAB, announces positive results for the third quarter, with sustained demand for defence products. He emphasised the importance of Europe increasing its autonomy in defence matters. The majority of orders came from outside Europe, notably from Europe and the United States, with a focus on sensors and advanced weapons.

Johansson believes that growth in the defence sector will continue in the long term, regardless of the outcome of the US elections. He believes that Europe must continue to strengthen its defence capabilities, even in the event of de-escalation in Ukraine, in order to respond to an unpredictable security environment.
