Saab AB (publ) announced the appointment of Christian Luiga as CFO and Deputy CEO. Christian Luiga will start in the role no later than September 16, 2020. The Board of Directors has also appointed Anders Carp as a new deputy CEO, in addition to his current role as head of Saab's business area Surveillance.

Anders Carp will start in his additional role from May 5, 2020. Christian Luiga recently completed the role of acting CEO of the telecommunications company Telia. He was previously CFO at Telia for several years.

On March 16, 2020, Saab announced that the current CFO and Executive Vice President, Magnus Örnberg, will leave the Group during the second quarter of the year. The last day is now set for May 8, 2020. Acting CFO until Christian Luiga takes over will be Thomas Hendel, who is currently deputy CFO and Group Controller.

Thomas Hendel is adjunct member to Saab's Group Management until Christian Luiga joins the company.
