Sababa Security S p A : partners with Olatic to develop cybersecurity culture and awareness across all the Basque country

Milan, October, 18, 2022 - Sababa Security S.p.A. ("Sababa Security" or the "Company"), a leading Italian operator in the cybersecurity industry providing an integrated and customised offering of products and managed services to protect different IT and OT environments from cyber threats - listed on Euronext Growth Milan - announces a new partnership with Olatic - ICT services and IT solutions consulting company with high qualification in technologies and the objective of improving business productivity and collaboration - aimed at creating a strong professional cybersecurity sector and developing culture and awareness on cybersecurity across all the Basque country.

With Sababa Security providing its international expertise and Olatic sharing its local market knowledge, the two companies will join forces to develop a mutual portfolio of solutions, which will mainly cover three areas: audit and governance - to understand the clients's needs and define a feasible security roadmap; training - to upskill their non IT-teams, IT/OT professionals and C-levels; and monitoring to constantly monitor implemented solutions and key business processes. In this regard, the Basque customer base could benefit from local first-line support - executed by Olatic - thus being able to rely on a team of professionals working in their time zone and speaking their own language.

Moreover, although the purpose of the agreement is to meet the needs of both IT and OT companies in the north of Spain - from SMBs to large enterprises -, extra efforts will be focused on Industrial Cybersecurity, especially after the Basque government designed several programmes to enable industrial organisations all across the country invest into their cybersecurity strategies. Indeed, though the race towards digitisation has brought many advantages, it also led to greater exposure to security risks, thus making cybersecurity a fundamental pillar in the process of digital transformation.
