DECISION OF THE FRENCH COMPETITION AUTHORITY -

DISMISSAL OF ALL CHARGES AGAINST SAFILO

Padua, July 22, 2021 - Reference is made to the proceedings that have been ongoing since May 2015 with the French Competition Authority (following the investigation initiated by the same in 2009) regarding a number of alleged practices in the eyewear sector in France.

Safilo is pleased with the decision issued today by the French Competition Authority dismissing all the charges which had been raised against it and which Safilo has vigorously challenged with its internal and external legal team, led by François Brunet and Céline Verney of the law firm Hogan Lovells.
