Safran : Jorge Ortega is appointed CEO of Safran Cabin

Effective December 1st, 2022, Jorge Ortega is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Safran Cabin and becomes a member of the Group's Executive Committee. He succeeds Norman Jordan who has decided to give a new orientation to his career. The Group warmly thanks him for his strong contribution to Safran's development between 2000 and 2010 and for leading the ex-Zodiac Aerospace integration since 2017 as CEO of Safran Cabin.
After having held different management responsibilities in Westinghouse Corporation, Jorge Ortega joined Labinal* in 1993 as Programme manager and then Operations manager. In 2000, he was promoted to President of Labinal Mexico and managed the business development and growth of the Chihuahua sites. In December 2006, Jorge Ortega was appointed Managing Director of the North America wiring systems activities and then, in 2011, North America Wiring and Services Division Managing Director, following the integration of the Services activities into Division. As such, he is in charge of all the wiring systems activities in North America and is General Manager of Interconnection Systems Americas (ISA) within Safran Electrical & Power.

- aircraft interiors (10.7%): cabin interiors and seats;
- other (0.1%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (19.4%), Europe (24%), the Americas (34.8%), Asia and Oceania (13.2%), Africa and the Middle East (8.6%).
