Saia, Inc. reported LTL Operating Data first two months and Quarter to Date of the third quarter 2024. In July 2024, LTL shipments per workday increased 10.6%, LTL tonnage per workday increased 5.0% and LTL weight per shipment declined 5.0% to 1,331 pounds compared to 1,401 pounds in July 2023.
In August 2024, LTL shipments per workday increased 7.0%, LTL tonnage per workday increased 8.2% and LTL weight per shipment increased 1.2% to 1,354 pounds compared to 1,339 pounds in August 2023.
In Quarter to Date, LTL shipments per workday increased 8.5%, LTL tonnage per workday increased 6.6% and LTL weight per shipment declined 1.8% compared to Quarter to Date 2023.
