SAIC Mobility, the mobility service brand of China's largest carmaker SAIC Motor, recently announced that it is now capable of offering one-stop ride-hailing services after two years of operation.

SAIC Mobility offers online car reservations, car rental services for enterprises and individuals, and taxi services.

The online car reservation service is available in 20 Chinese cities and has more than 20 million users, while enterprise car rental services are available in 154 Chinese cities, serving more than 20 million enterprises.

Its personal car rental platform SAIC Mobility Rental offers users flexible and customized services, and the taxi service is connected with 'Shanghai Cab', a unified taxi platform in Shanghai.

SAIC Mobility also announced that it has finished A-round strategic financing and raised more than 300 million yuan ($45.80 million), which was provided by Alibaba Group and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co, a global leader in the development and manufacture of lithium-ion batteries.

The two investors will carry out deep cooperation with SAIC Mobility in automatic driving, new energy, data technology, and differentiation model exploration to help the platform offer better one-stop ride-hailing services.

It also published a strategic cooperation vision with Bilibili E-sport in 2021, aiming to attract more young users by offering various high-quality ride-hailing services.

The platform also launched its ACTS technological strategy, which focuses on developing artificial intelligence control unit, IoV cockpit, future transport, and full-time intelligent safety, to lay a solid foundation for further development.
