Shanghai pushes carmakers for automotive chip investments

BEIJING (Reuters) - Shanghai will encourage SAIC Motor and other vehicle manufacturers to actively participate in automotive chip investment, as well as support the formation of expert groups and industry alliances, government media The Paper reported on Saturday.
