Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Airkit for $3.6 million on September 21, 2023. Salesforce issued 17,100 shares of its common stock to certain former stockholders of Airkit, Inc. that will vest over time. Upon closing of the transaction, Airkit will be part of the San Francisco-based cloud-based software firm's service cloud and will continue to be led by Airkit's co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Adam Evans. The acquisition is expected to occur in the second half of Salesforce's financial 2024, subject to customary closing conditions.
