DENTON, Texas (AP) _ Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. (SBH) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $21.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Denton, Texas-based company said it had profit of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to 50 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 48 cents per share.

The beauty products seller posted revenue of $962.5 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $943.9 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $183.6 million, or $1.66 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.82 billion.
