SalMar ASA (OB:SALM) entered into an agreement to acquire an unknown minority stake in Refsnes Laks As on August 25, 2021. SalMar ASA acquire a 45% stake in Refsnes Laks As for NOK 665 million through a combination of share purchase agreement and private placement. The completion of the transaction is conditional upon that the Norwegian Competition Authorities does not intervene against the transaction.

As of September 23, 2021, transaction has been approved by the Norwegian Competition Authorities.
