Daelim Paper Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A017650) agreed to acquire Paju factory corrugated fiberboard box and fabric business from Sambo Corrugated Board Co., Ltd. for KRW 23.2 billion on April 28, 2017. The consideration will be paid in cash. As per the amendment on June 29, 2017, the corresponding amount of consideration will be paid in Korea Paper Mfg. Co., Ltd. equity and cash. As of April 28, 2017, the Board of Daelim Paper Co., Ltd. resolved the transaction. As of June 12, 2017, the shareholders of Sambo Corrugated Board Co., Ltd. approved the transaction. The transaction is expected to complete on June 12, 2017. Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers acted as an external rating institution.
