SÃO MARTINHO S.A. São Martinho and Nova Fronteira Bioenergia were pre-classified for the VOCÊ S/A Guidebook's As Melhores Empresas Para Começar a Carreira (Best Companies to Start a Career With) survey, which selects the top 35 Brazilian companies with which to begin a professional career. Last year, both companies were included for the first time in this exclusive list.
Young professionals and interns from these companies aged between 18 and 26 take part in this process. During the pre-classification stage, the company is visited by a journalist who discusses the company's practices with randomly selected employees. A representative of the company's Human Resources department is also interviewed.
The guidebook is a project developed by VOCÊ S/A magazine, together with Cia. de Talentos, a Brazilian consulting firm specialized in young professionals, and the Management Institute Foundation (FIA). The aim of the survey is to understand the expectations of young people who are taking their first steps in the job market. This study is also the first one to map what the companies have to offer in order to support novice professionals in this important stage of their lives.
The survey's final results will be published in May 2016. The cooperation of all selected interns and young employees is extremely important.
