Second phase launched of São Martinho's safety campaign

One year after its launch, the safety campaign of the São Martinho Group called "Do the Right Thing. Celebrate Life" (from the Portuguese Faça o Certo. Celebre a Vida), which has united all employees around this important issue, has launched a new phase of its effort to raise awareness throughout the company.

In conjunction with the celebration of National Workplace Accident Prevention Day, which is also commemorated on July 27, the São Martinho Group launched various initiatives that target not only the general workforce, but also team leaders.

The highlights of this second phase include the need to remain attentive during the execution of any activity, whether in the workplace or at home, and the importance of leaders encouraging their teams and setting a good example.

The internal communication actions call the attention of team members to various routine situations in order to underscore the need to do the right thing to prevent accidents. The innovation this year will be to focus each month on certain a topic that warrants greater attention. The first issues in the spotlight will be using headlights during the day on highways and the importance of using seatbelts.
