The company presents its shareholders and the market in general with its crushing and production estimates for the 2016/17 crop year

São Paulo, April 2016 - Pursuant to CVM Instruction 358/02 and best corporate governance practices, on April 18 São Martinho Group, one of Brazil's largest sugar and ethanol producers, informed its shareholders and the market in general of its crushing and production guidance for the 2016/17 crop year.

Crushed sugarcane volume is estimated at 20,553,000 tons, 2.6% more than in the 2015/16 crop year, with sugar production of 1,356,000 tons, up by 10.2% in the same period. Anhydrous ethanol output is expected to reach 455,000 m3, a 2.2% improvement over the previous season, while hydrous ethanol production is estimated at 340,000 m3, up by 11.1%.

Cogeneration should come to 753,000 MWh, 1.6% more than the 2015/2016 figure. Average TRS should reach 135.7 kg/ton, 5.3% up on the season before, with total TRS of 2,789, a period increase of 8.1%. The sugar/ethanol mix is projected at 51% - 49%.
