SÃO MARTINHO S.A. The São Martinho Group announced, at the end of December, the conclusion of the crushing season for the 2016/17 harvest year as well as the Company's sugar, ethanol and energy production figures.
The Company reached a total of 19.281 million tons of crushed sugarcane during the period, considering the partial consolidation of the Boa Vista mill (50.95%). The total crushed amount reached 100,1% of the new guidance that was disclosed in November.
The raw material processed resulted in the production of 1.301 thousand tons of sugar, equivalent to 100.3% of the new foreseen guidance, and 667 million liters of ethanol, of which 398 million liters were anhydrous ethanol and 269 million liters were hydrous ethanol.
The Company also reported that the level of total recoverable sugar (ATR) per ton of crushed sugarcane was 130.3 kg and the ATR produced was 2.512 thousand tons. The Group points out that it will continue to generate energy until February/2017.
