Saras Chairman, Mr Moratti: Saras reaffirms its integrity

Milan October 9th, 2020: In relation to press reports concerning the investigations pending at the Prosecutor's Office in Cagliari (Italy), emphatically disclosed in recent days, Saras firmly rejects any accusation and specifies the following.

Saras Group has a history of creating value based on the responsibility, fairness and transparency of the work of its people both in the area in which the industrial activity is rooted and on a global level where it develops commercial relationships.

The investigations in progress are the natural consequence to the news reported already some time ago by television broadcasts, on which Saras promptly acted, obtaining the authors' acknowledgment of its reasons.

Saras has provided the investigators and will continue to provide every form of cooperation in ascertaining the facts which, we are sure, took place with no irregularities whatsoever on the part of the interested parties: in any case, Saras reiterates the correctness of the conduct of its representatives, trusting that the competent authorities will reach this ultimate conclusion.

In the meantime, Saras will leave no stone unturned to defend its reputation - consolidated over time and internationally recognized - as a serious operator, ethically impeccable, respectful of the law and the rules of the market.
