For the quarter, the company's revenue was MYR 14,708,000 compared with MYR 13,827,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 666,000 compared with operating loss of MYR 516,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 224,000 compared with profit before tax of MYR 1,059,000 a year ago. The Group's revenue was mainly contributed by manufacturing division. Higher revenue from its manufacturing division was primarily due to higher demand for spun pipes & beams given rolling out of the Pan Borneo Highway Project in the current quarter. For six months, the company reported revenue was MYR 29,587,000 compared with MYR 25,690,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 263,000 compared with operating loss of MYR 662,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was MYR 617,000 compared with MYR 1,640,000 a year ago. Loss for the period attributable to equity holders of the company was MYR 617,000 or 0.84 sen per basic share compared to MYR 1,640,000 or 2.23 sen per basic share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was MYR 6,340,000 compared with MYR 4,579,000 a year ago. Acquisition of property, plant and equipment was MYR 3,354,000 compared with MYR 341,000 a year ago. Net assets per share was MYR 0.7000 compared with MYR 0.7100 a year ago.
