SABIC celebrated the completion of the project to support the early detection of breast cancer by dispatching two mobile clinics to Tabuk and Asir on Tuesday.

The ceremony, which took place at SABIC Riyadh headquarters, was attended by Dr. Abdullah Asiri, Deputy Minister of Health for Preventive Health; Dr. Suad bint Mohammed bin Amer, Founder and Vice Chairman of the Zahra Breast Cancer Association; and Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, Executive Vice President, Petrochemicals at SABIC.

The project, which was announced in 2020, consists of six breast cancer screening clinics, three regular ones and three mobiles, to be operated by the Ministry of Health.

The project is expected to benefit more than 4,800 women annually in Al-Ahsa, Baha, Beisha, Tabuk, Hail and Abha.

It comes within the framework of SABIC's CSR strategy, of which healthcare is one of the pillars in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as an extension of the company's multiple contributions to the health sector in the Kingdom.

The project will support expanding the field of early detection of breast cancer and create awareness about healthy behaviors.
