ZURICH (Reuters) - Clariant could sign a deal with a buyer of its pigments unit toward June 2021, Chief Financial Officer Stephan Lynen said on Thursday, although regulatory approvals could take completion of a transaction into the end of the second half.
"In the course of the first half we might see, more toward the end of the first half, a potential signing of a deal," Lynen said on a call with reporters, adding the Swiss specialty chemicals maker hopes to have a new chief executive officer to replace interim boss Hariolf Kottmann by early 2021.
